What's behind the name?
AFTR is about the after effect—the impact a story creates once it’s seen and heard. We believe content isn’t just about how it’s captured, but how it resonates, travels, and performs after the shoot. How a single shoot can be cut, shaped, and distributed across formats and channels to tell one cohesive story. She is a marketing executive known for turning brand vision into commercial impact, with industry experience spanning pharma, media, insurance, eCommerce, telehealth, and food across both global enterprises and high-growth emerging companies. Her passion is connecting creative storytelling with measurable business results, building brands that not only resonate culturally, but drive growth.
Now, she is channeling her passion for content creation and storytelling into AFTR. Built to simplify the content production process for brands, agencies, founders, and creators, making it easier to share compelling stories with less planning friction and more ease. She's been working with Dious and Ryan for years on the brand side, now happily collaborating on AFTR.

Dious Clay
Dious Clay is a videographer, video editor, and creative director with over two decades of experience in visual storytelling. As owner of ClayHouse Media, he creates short-form and long-form content for brands, social media, and live events, with work spanning commercial campaigns, digital marketing, and event coverage.
His clients include Kali Audio, Hollyland, Sony, JBL, KRK Audio, SESAC, the NAACP Image Awards, and BET. Skilled in directing,
cinematography, lighting, and post-production, he works with industry-standard
tools including Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve, along with professional-grade equipment. Dious combines creativity and technical expertise to help brands and creators tell authentic, engaging stories.

Ryan Tanaka
Ryan Tanaka is a commercial photographer based out of Los Angeles. He began shooting food and architecture for hospitality and food companies in 2010. At this time, he also became a photo journalist featured in the Los Angeles Times, The Economist, Eater, Zagat, and Top Chef. He has worked with various brands over the years including Live Nation, Marriott, and Shake Shack. His architectural work has also been featured in the American Architecture Awards over multiple years.
Ryan has a natural eye for lining up the perfect shot. With years of experience behind the camera, he understands how to shape lighting, styling and angles to capture content that reflects each client’s creative vision.
